Every day in Canada, over 600 people are diagnosed with cancer. Along with the devastating effects of treatment, an overwhelming majority of patients experience a multitude of debilitating non-medical consequences such as fear, anxiety, pain, financial worries, isolation and even guilt. Through one-to-one and group support activities, learned coping skills, restorative therapies and educational opportunities, Wellspring Cancer Support Foundation helps people take an active role in controlling their cancer experience to help improve their quality of life.

At Wellspring, the focus is on the person, not the disease. As the leading network of cancer support centres in Canada, Wellspring is a sanctuary of understanding, a place where cancer patients as well as their family and caregivers, are welcome to participate in programming that will help them move forward with renewed strength, confidence and hope.
