NUTRIENCE OAKVILLE HALF MARATHON - SEPTEMBER 30, 2018

The Nutrience Oakville Half Marathon offers a number of different race routes. There are the standard half marathon, 10K and 5K routes, but you can also choose from the Timbits 2K and Mutt Strutt 2K - for those who are looking for a fun run to complete with their children, or fur babies. Our small but mighty team raised an incredible $16,385 for Wellspring Birmingham Gilgan House.

ORANGETHEORY FITNESS PINK TOWELS CAMPAIGN

OrangeTheory Fitness (Golden Horseshoe Region), has been a great community supporter of Wellspring Birmingham Gilgan House through their participation in fundraising events such as Ladies Out Laughing and Lace Up for Love. This past October, they raised $1,322.10 through the sale of pink OrangeTheory Fitness branded towels, encouraging their members to sweat it out for a great cause!

OAKVILLE BLADES "PINK IN THE RINK" - OCTOBER 19, 2018

The Oakville Blades’ annual ‘Pink in the Rink’ event was an outstanding success for Wellspring this past year – raising over $32,000! It was a great night which showcased local hockey talent and an overwhelming sense of community support. Players honoured a loved one affected by cancer by wearing their name on their jersey, collected online pledges and hosted an amazing bake sale and silent auction. Wellspring Birmingham Gilgan House is very excited to continue this valued partnership!

KARAOKE FOR TARA - NOVEMBER 3, 2018

What started out as a fun ladies night out activity, turned into a very special event held in memory of Tara, a former Wellspring member. Hosted by friends and family, the event raised an amazing $910 for the Art Therapy Program at Birmingham Gilgan House, a program that Tara was very fond of. It was a touching tribute to Tara and it honoured her in a way that she would have appreciated - with a night full of love, laughter and karaoke.
