This year’s Wellspring Peloton Challenge is heading back to Texas. San Antonio, Texas. Home of the Alamo! Although its legacy as a mission and fortress is controversial, the Alamo is a symbol of fighting for a cause one truly believes in. My cause is Wellspring. Starting September I will be cycling 120K a day for 8 consecutive days in support of the Wellspring Cancer Support Centres. This seems daunting but it’s nothing compared to what someone living with cancer faces.
As many of you know, Diane is a breast cancer survivor. We knew Diane’s year of cancer treatments would be extremely difficult. But we had no idea how tough the recovery would be from those treatments. That’s where Wellspring makes such an incredible difference. Wellspring provides cancer support and coping skills programs to men, women and children living with cancer. Totally free of charge. We saw first-hand what a difference Wellspring made to Diane’s recovery. It is a tremendous organization and very worthy of your support.
But don’t just take our word. Click into this short inspirational video in the link above and see how donations like yours fund the Wellspring Cancer Exercise program. This program makes a huge difference in the quality of recovery and reducing recurrence rates.
In addition to the physical and mental challenge of these rides, we have set a combined personal fundraising goal of $10,000 and we greatly need your help to achieve it!
Please help us reach our fundraising goal
